Based on the testimonies of 16th-century pilots, sailors, and passengers, the project brings visitors closer to the daily experience of the voyage: the watches, the maneuvers, the rest, the uncertainty, and the shared life during months of navigation into the unknown. In this way, the exhibition invites us to understand that feat not only as a historical event but as a deeply human experience lived in the middle of the ocean.
