Following two years of research in family archives, newspaper libraries, and other documentary sources, the exhibition reconstructs the figure of Ignacio Sánchez Mejías as one of the great protagonists of early 20th-century Spanish culture. Beyond the literary myth created by Federico García Lorca and other authors of the Generation of '27, the display reveals the complexity of an exceptional individual who actively participated in the intellectual, artistic, and social life of his time, becoming a gateway to understanding the spirit of the so-called Silver Age of Spanish culture.
